The project for the production of "nano particulate composite material" supported by TÜBİTAK is being implemented with the cooperation of SAHA İstanbul, Marmara University and Altıgen Panel.
The project for the production of "nano particulate composite material", which will be realized with the cooperation of Marmara University and Altıgen Panel, was developed by 3rd grade student Sefa Enes Kılıç of Marmara University and prepared under the consultancy of Instructor Dr.Yalçın Boztoprak.
In the project, it is aimed to produce high performance composite materials at high temperatures which are needed in aerospace, defense and aerospace industries that require advanced technology and production. It will be used in domestic production plates, aerospace and defense industry to be adhered on aluminum honeycomb structures.
Faculty member of the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Dr.Yalçın Boztoprak, “due to the advantages of the use of composite materials is becoming increasingly common” he said. Stating that it needs to work in university-industry collaboration, he said, "Thus goal-oriented work to be done and this work will contribute to the economy of our country”. This project is a good example for university-industry cooperation, and as university, we are always open to such collaborations, he added.
