The project titled "Three-Dimensional Microneedle Drug Delivery from Nose to Brain: A New Approach to Migraine Treatment," led by Elif Zehra Atukeren, a doctoral student from the Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Department of Marmara University’s Institute of Science, has been approved for funding under the TÜBİTAK 1002 A-Fast Support Program.
The project aims to use three-dimensional hydrogel-based and drug-loaded microneedles via the intranasal route to ensure controlled drug release and to apply this method for local treatment of migraine disease.
We congratulate the researchers involved in the project and wish them a successful project period.
