The “Export Academy - Export Expertise Training Program,” initiated through the “Export Academy Cooperation Protocol” signed between the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Trade and the Council of Higher Education (CoHE), officially opened on February 27, 2025, hosted by Marmara University. The opening ceremony was attended by the Minister of Trade, Prof. Dr. Ömer Bolat; CoHE President Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar; Deputy Minister of Trade Özgür Volkan Ağar; and Marmara University Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kurt. The program officially started on March 1, 2025, at Marmara University’s Göztepe Campus.
The training program began with intense interest and participation from the trainees. During the opening session, the General Director of Export at the Ministry of Trade, Mehmet Ali Kılıçkaya, was accompanied by Deputy General Director Bülent Tuncer, Director of Commercial Information, Communication Services and Women-Youth Entrepreneurs Department Koray Ali Konca, and Program Coordinator Prof. Dr. M. Volkan Türker from Marmara University. The training program, which started with the "Export 101" lesson by Export Development Specialist Asım Çalış, will last a total of 90 hours and conclude on April 26.
