"Sustainable Youth National Technology Workshop Establishment Project" Will Be Funded Within  the Scope of TÜBİTAK

The "Sustainable Youth National Technology Workshop" project within the scope of the 4003-T National Technology Workshops Call has been supported by the  Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) with a budget of up to 30 Million Turkish Liras.

The project, led by Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kurt, Rector of Marmara University, and Assoc. Prof. Savaş Evran, Coordinator of Digital Transformation and Data Management, aims to establish national technology workshops at universities and TÜBİTAK-supported science centers. These workshops will serve as spaces where teams participating in science and technology competitions can find all the machinery, equipment, and supplies they need, and where students can collaborate and develop projects.

One of the goals is to rapidly establish and spread the National Technology Workshops across the country, ensure their effective operation, and secure their sustainability for long-term productivity and success.

As part of this major initiative aimed at establishing National Technology Workshops in all 81 provinces to enable students to bring their dreams, ideas, and projects to life in line with the goals of our country’s National Technology Movement, Marmara University will contribute to the training of qualified human resources needed for our domestic and national industry. The university will also support the technical and vocational training processes required by our entrepreneurial youth.
