A protocol was signed in July 2024 between the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Marmara University and the Turkish Automobile Sports Federation (TOSFED) for a study titled "Hydration and Performance Relationship in Motorsports."

The project, led by Associate Prof. Dr. Ayşe Hümeyra İslamoğlu, is being carried out with the research team consisting of Asst. Prof. Dr. Yunus Emre Bakırhan, Intern Dietitian Batın Enes Dalkılınç, Intern Dietitian Ali Esat Coşkun, and Intern Dietitian Muhammed Eren Özgün.

A plaque was presented to the project leader, Associate Prof. Dr. Ayşe Hümeyra İslamoğlu, on behalf of the entire project team during the TOSFED Gala Night held on January 18, 2024.
