Marmara University participated with its 10 patent and 6 congress paper in the given congress in which 145 patents were presented. In the event that  Chairman of ÜSİMP the Executive Board Prof. Dr. Hamit Serbest made an opening speech, Ministry of Industry and Technology R&D Incentives General Manager Muhammet Bilal Macit, President of TÜBİTAK Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal and a lot of speakers from public and private sectors participated.  Chairman of ÜSİMP the Executive Board Prof. Dr. Hamit Serbest and Vice Chairman Prof.Dr. Fazilet Vardar organized various sessions  about our country’s patents conversion into the added value at the event in which President of Turkish Patent and Trademark Office Prof. Dr. Habip Asan took place a  session moderator. In the event participated by a lot of Technology Transfer Offices and private sector  representatives, “ Innovative Interface Platform Project”, carried out on behalf of Marmara University Rectorate and supported by Istanbul Development Agency, was presented by Project Coordinator MITTO Centre Manager Prof. Dr. Ahu Altınkut Uncuoğlu in the session named “ The Place Of The Networks  And Cooperations In The Travel From Academic World To The Market”. The expo included also speakers  who are responsible  for  both  Europe Patent Office and Technology Transfer and Industry Relations and coming from the  public research centres of various universities of Europe.  More than 50 patent presentation from Malaysia  were made in the fair that were attended by speakers from  various public and private sectors on behalf of  the Malaysia Research and Innovation Ecosystem.
