The opening speech of the workshop which was held in Dr. İbrahim Üzümcü Conference Hall was made by Principal of Environmental Problems Research and Implementation Centre Prof. Belgin Süsleyici. Prof. Süsleyici drew attention to the fact that there are problems in healthcare waste management in our country as well as all around the world, and that state authorities and academicians will collaborate to overcome the problems.

The solutions to medical, chemical and biological wastes will be forwarded through workshop declaration to Republic of Turkey Ministry of Enviroment and Urbanisation.
