The opening speeches of the symposium was made by the Head of Library and Documentation of Marmara University Dr. Lect. Güssün Güneş and Unak Association President and Head of Education and Training of Lokman University M.Fatih Kumsel. After opening speeches, the opening concert was given by Assoc.Prof. Tülin Malkoç, Lect. Aytaç Rzaguliyeva and Tuğçem Kar. Participated in the symposium as an invitee from METU, Prof.Dr. Kürşat Çağıltay, gave presentation titled “Libraries as Education Technology Platform” and subsequently the presentations of the papers were made.
The issues such as “Contribution of the Proquest Products to the Academic Researches and New Approaches”, “Turkish Generation Z’s Knowledge Behaviours”, “Innovative Approaches to the Publishing Process with GOBI”, “21. Century Trends and Their Relation with the Academic Libraries”, “Changing Roles of Librarians and Mixed Skills”, “New Generation Smart Libraries with Artificial Intelligence” will be discussed im the symposium.
