We participated in TUBITAK Science Talks Event with our project named “Virtual Reality in Medical Imaging Techniques Education” on 27th November.
Within the TUBITAK Science Talks event, our university was invited by TUBITAK Science and Society Department to the Izmit Atılım Anatolian High School thanks to its “Virtual Reality Applications in Medical Imaging Techniques Education” project that was funded by Marmara University Scientific Research Projects Unit (BAPKO) and supported by MITTO Pre-Incubation Program.
Lecture Dr. Nuran Akyurt of the Marmara University Vocational School of Health Services Medical Imaging Techniques said that this invitation aimed to bring together "Medical Imaging Techniques Virtual Reality in Education" project with the high school students and to promote the interests of young people in science.
In the event that was attended by Izmit Atılım Anatolian High School’s teachers, students and their parents, “Virtual Reality Workshop”, “Virtual Reality Applications in Mammography” and “ Breast Self - Exam” studies were applied.
The event of “TUBITAK Science Talks” ended after the collective photo shoot.
