Assoc. Prof. Elif Soyer from the Faculty of Engineering and her team received support within the scope of "TÜBİTAK 1001-Scientific and Technological Research Projects Support Program" with the project titled "Optimization of Organic Matter Removal Mechanism in Drinking Water Treatment Facilities Upflow Sludge Blanket Clarifiers, Development of Decision-Making Mechanism in Design Recommendations and Operation".

Research Assist. Gülay Arslan from the Marmara University Environmental Engineering, Lect. Dr. Haluk Bayram from the İstanbul Medeniyet University  and MSc Engineer Dicle Tatar of the Istanbul Water and Sewerage Administration (İSKİ) were present in the project team.
