Marmara University, Faculty of Applied Sciences, Department of Printing Technologies became the first department in Turkey to become a member of IC (The International Circle of Educational Institutes for Graphic Media Technology and Management). With this decision taken at the IC general assembly meeting held at Stuttgart Media University on November 25, 2022, the international success of the Printing Technologies Department was officially registered.

IC, which was founded by several European universities providing education in the field of Printing Technologies in Lausanne in 1957, has become an important organization with many members from all over the world. IC is considered as one of the important international academic platforms to which universities and various higher education institutions with departments providing education in Graphic Media Technologies, Printing Technology, Graphic Industry, Print Publishing and similar fields are members.
