Rector of Marmara University Prof. M. Emin Arat made an opening speech in the ceremony and Dean of Faculty Prof. Mine Gülden Polat, Chairperson of Department of Nutrition and Dietetics Assoc. Prof. Esra Güneş, Chairperson of Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Prof. S. Ufuk Yurdalan, Chairperson of Department of Healthcare Management Prof. Mehveş Tarım, Chairperson of Department of Tocology Assist. Assoc. Prof. Ayşe Karakoç and Chairperson of Department of Nursing Prof. A. Nefise Bahçecik were among other spokespersons.

Chairperson of Department of Nutrition and Dietetics Assoc. Prof. Esra Güneş said in her speech: “ Dear students, you are closing a page in your life and you are opening a new page with power of that. I believe deeply that you will be best representatives of your profession with the education you received here while you‘re leaving with a lovely memories in your mind. I’m really proud of all of you to hear compliments about you during your internship representing our department at best and thus and proud of you being my students.”

Students ranked among the top three as follows: Büşra Karan (Faculty and Department of Nursing), Buse Erguvan (Faculty and Department of Nursing) and Medine Milli (Faculty and Department of Nursing.

The ceremony ended with throwing their caps into air after representing plaques to students ranking the highest.
