The project themed “The Extraction of Fibre From the Stem Wastes of The Okra Plant and Development of  Sound Absorbing Properties of the Non Woven Fabrics Produced By Fibres”, which is one of the projects of Technology Faculty carried out within Tübitak 1001, was successfully completed. That project have been one of  two projects of Marmara University which is supported by Tübitak. Lecturer at the Department of Textile Engineering Assoc. Prof. Burcu Yılmaz Şahinbaşkan and Lecturer at the Faculty of Architecture and Design, Ticaret University, Prof. Dr. Nigar Merdan took place as researcher in the project that was carried out by the coordinatorship of Prof. Dr. Emine Dilara Koçak, Lecturer at the Department of the Textile Engineering. The output of the project are as follows : 1 internationale book, 1 internationale book section, 3 paper with SCI index and 12 internationale conference papers. We congratulated project team and everyone who contributed to this project.
