The works that Marmara University Atatürk Faculty of Education Department of Art Teaching students had their students do in secondary schools where they practiced were exhibited at Göztepe Campus as part of the "23 April Exhibition".
Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kurt, who made the opening speech of the exhibition, said: “We are going to see the works of the students in the schools where the students of our Atatürk Faculty of Education, one of the most important education faculties of our country, practice. We are very happy that our university hosted the valuable works of our primary school students within the scope of April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day. Putting forward its assertion in the field of education, which is one of the basic elements of a country, our Atatürk Education Faculty provide students professional experience with these applied studies, while at the same time sharing the outputs of their application studies with us through events such as this exhibition. All the paintings exhibited here are very valuable to us. I congratulate all our children and youth who made these pictures. Congratulations to their teachers. I also congratulate all our young people who are the teachers of the future in our Atatürk Faculty of Education.”
Rector Prof. Dr. Kurt listened to the story of each work and chatted with students and teachers. Following the visit to the exhibition, the students whose works were exhibited were presented their certificate of appreciation by Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kurt, Dean of Atatürk Faculty of Education Prof. Dr. Seyfi Kenan and Deputy Dean Lect. Dr. Erol Süzük.
