Technology Faculty of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering Department, Advanced Nanomaterials Research Laboratory graduate student Esra Altun and Mehmet Onur Aydogdu made studies and produced materials in University College London during their research. They analyzed them in the laboratory when they returned to Turkey and wrote an article in accordance with the results. In this study, our students produced the polymeric fibrous wound dressing bandages blended with bacterial cellulose by using the original "Gyration" method which works under pressure and earned it to the world literature. High-cell adhesion, strong mechanical properties and promising water-retention capacity, was highlighted in the magazine "Macromolecular Materials and Engineering", which is linked to the world-famous Wiley Online Library. The graphical designs of our students' articles were chosen as the front cover in March 2018.. We congratulate Professor of Marmara University Faculty of Technology Hasan Erdal PhD and Senior Nanomaterials Laboratory Specialist Assoc.Prof Oğuzhan Gündüz PhD amd our valuable students, Esra Altun and Mehmet Onur Aydogdu, Fatma Koc, Maryam Crabbe-Mann, Francis Brako, Rupy Kaur-Matharu, Gunes Ozen, Serap Erdem Kuruca, Ursula Edirisinghe and Mohan Edirisinghe and wish their success to continue.
