Symposium was organized with the association of TÜMRAD-DER and Acibadem University. Young Innovative Health Care Club members and Club Advisor Asst. Assoc. Nuran Akyurt PhD participated jointly in symposium with 3 oral and 10 poster presentations. In addition to innovations in Advanced Diagnosis and Imaging Technology, working conditions, communication skills of health workers, legal changes and occupational problems were also discussed at the symposium. The scientific study conducted with Yilmaz Baran, Erem Akyurt, Sevgi Ulutas' Club Adviser Asst. Assoc. Nuran Akyurt PhD ; It was deemed worthy of the 1st prize in the oral presentation and the 1st prize in the poster presentation by the Symposium Science Committee in the Student Studies Category.

In this symposium, Birtanem Nazik, Enes Yüzgüller, Ebrar Yiğit, Çağla Çetinkaya, Merve Pugar, Oktay Yaşar, Hasan Volkan Yıldırım, Yusufcan Özdemir, Hicran Akyol, Bilal Şahin, Gizem Sakal, Hanım Geçer, Güler Yıldırım, Canan Gümüş, Zeynep İncebey, Dilara Tosun, GİSK team consisting of Erem Akyurt, Yılmaz Baran, Sevgi Ulutaş, Sevim Alaçam and Ayşe Aksu achieved  2nd and 3rd prizes in oral presentation and 2nd and 3rd in poster presentation. The President of the Symposium Prof. Olcay Çizmeli PhD congratulated the GİSK team at the prize-giving ceremony who collected the prizes in the catogories and presented their certificates. Prof. Olcay Çizmeli PhD said that The Advanced Imaging Symposium was held on the same dates each year and they declared that they would be hosting by Acıbadem University in 2018 as it became a traditional symposium.
