In memory of the personnel who lost their lives during the Covid-19 Pandemic, Marmara University carried out a sapling planting event in the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Complex with the participation of Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kurt. Olive trees were planted this time on the campus where the first trees were planted in June 2021 to commemorate the employees of Marmara University who lost their lives during the Covid 19 process.

In the event, where Vice-Rector  Prof. Dr. Ömer Akgiray and Secretary-General Lect. Dr.  Murat Arısal was also present, “Today, I am gratefully commemorating our precious personnel who passed away while working together by planting olive trees, which are symbols of fertility and peace. May their souls rest in peace” Prof. Kurt said.
