Hosted by  Rector Dr. Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar of Marmara University,  Dr. Messoud Efendiev talked about "Biology's Contributions to Mathematics" at the conference where  students and faculty members from  Departments of Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics showed great interest. Professor Dr. Efendiev has expanded his cooperation with world-renowned scientists and exchanged ideas with the faculty members of our university. Efendiev emphasized the importance of interdisciplinary realization of scientific studies. Professor Dr. Messoud Efendiev; he was born on October 21, 1953 in Zaqatala, Azerbaijan. He  is an important scientist who works in the field of Infinite Dimensional Dynamic Systems especially used in biology, medicine and ecology disciplines. He collaborated with world-renowned scientists and was awarded the Feodor Lynen Research Fellowship, which is given by Alexander von Humboldt Foundation to experienced researchers.
