Within the scope of the Science, Culture and Art Activities that are held in  our university,  Prof.Dr. Asad Zaman, Vice Chancellor of Pakistan  Institute of Development Economics, stated in his precious speeches that the traditional economic theories  mathematized this area and ignored the real life. He said that every society develops with the thought structures designed to justify its institutions and practices, and that the society based on the market following the war with the traditional society and the capitalist economy justify itself with the standard propaganda techniques. Asad Zaman underlined the need for radical reforms in order to eliminate the injustice created by the existing global economic system established to ensure the transfer of wealth from the rich to the rich.

After their speeches, our Vice Rector Prof.Dr. Ömer Akgiray  presented gifts to Prof. Dr. Asad Zaman in remembrance of the day.
