As a result of long and diligent work of Marmara University Rector  Prof. Mehmet Emin Arat PhD, Vice Rector Prof. Recep Bozdoğan PhD, Director of Educational Sciences Institute Prof. Ozana Ural PhD, International Office Director Prof.Nuri Tınaz PhD, International Office Erasmus Program Coordinator Dr. Gökçen Öcal Özkaya, Lecturer Esra Molu, Lecturer Member Işık Kamaraj , Marmara University, Turkey has been awarded and approved by the EU agency Erasmus Mundus Joint Graduate Education and Training (PETAL) Program in the field of Pre-School Education among University of Cordoba, Spain; The Polytechnic University of Lisbon, Portugal by the EU agency as of June 1,2018.

Erasmus Mundus Joint Master's Degree Teaching and Learning (PETAL) first period of Cordoba University Program, Turkey in the second, Marmara University's first EMJMD program carries the distinction of being the EMJMD program. The first,second and third term of th program will be held in ,respectively ; Cordoba University, Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon and Marmara University. The fourth term will be held in where the students want to study. The language of the joint program is English. The results of the EU agency can be seen here.
