The project titled “Circulating tumor microenvironment components as Urothelial Cancer Immunotherapy Response Predictors”, in which academicians from the Marmara University Faculty of Medicine took place, was supported within the scope of the EU Horizon 2020 program. Prof. Dr. Kazim Yalcin Arga, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Akkiprik, Lect. Dr. Bahadır Şahin, Assoc. Prof. İlker Tinay and Lect. Dr. Can Erzik will be included in the project, in which Research Assist. Dr. Gökçe Güllü Amuran will be executive of Turkey. The project will be managed by the Consorcio Centro de Investigación Biomédica en Red (CIBER) from Spain and in partnership with the Oncology Institute of Porto from Portugal and Lund University from Sweden.
Within the scope of the TRANSCAN 3, 2021 call, which was opened in the EU Horizon 2020 program on cancer research, 20 projects were deemed eligible to be supported with a total of 25.9 million Euros.
