Applications for the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE), which is an accredited document for higher education institutions that want to participate in activities and projects supported by the European Union, were received by the European Commission Executive Agency in May 2020. Our application, which was made by the Office of International Relations and Academic Cooperation of our university, resulted in a score of 100% from international evaluators, and thus, our university has the opportunity to benefit from all EU projects in the period of 2021-2027.

Marmara University has been providing active participation to Erasmus Program, developing productive cooperations with universities abroad and is one of the leading institutions that both send the most students to Europe and host the most students from Europe in our country in many years.

We wish to meet with more international cooperation and project opportunities in the new Erasmus + period and to be beneficial to our institution and all our stakeholders with that charter.
