Within the scope of the "2022 In-Service Training Calendar" prepared in accordance with the Marmara University In-Service Training Directive, with the cooperation of the Personnel Department and the Istanbul Provincial Police Department, a seminar titled "The Best Narcotics Police: Mother" was held on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at the Conference Hall of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences for our female administrative staff.

Within the "Best Narcotics Police: Mother" project implemented by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, it is aimed to prevent drug use before it even starts by carrying out awareness-raising activities for mothers in the fight against drugs.

The training started with the presentation on “Women Support Practice” (KADES) by Hilal Koca, Deputy Commissioner of Kadıköy District Police Department. The program continued with the presentation on "The Best Narcotics Police: Mother" by Okan İlhan, a police officer of the General Directorate of Security, Department of Combating Narcotic Crimes. The training program ended with an informative presentation on addictions by Emine Yeşildağ from the Green Crescent Counseling Center (YEDAM).

It is planned to repeat the program in the near future in line with the interest and the requests from the personnel for the training.
