Workshop entitled “Health Biotechnology – Biotechnological Approaches on Drug Industry” under the our project entitled “Marmara Üniversitesi’nde Biyoteknoloji Alanında Mevcut Ar-Ge Potansiyelinin Belirlenmesi ve Öncelikli Alanlara Yönelik Ar-Ge Stratejilerinin Oluşturulması” referring to TUBİTAK’s invitation entitled “Üniversitelerde Ar-Ge Strateji Belgesi Hazırlatılması ve Uygulatılması (Preparing and Applying Ar-Ge Strategy Paper in Universities)” with the support of TUBITAK was held in order to determine related topics under the general head title “Biotechnology” in Marmara University Haydarpaşa Campus Faculty of Pharmacy Prof. Mustafa Nevzat Conference Hall on November 9, 2016, Wednesday between 13.30 and 17.00.
The program started with Dean Deputy of Faculty of Pharmacy Prof. Ş. Güniz Küçükgüzel’s opening speech. Prof. Küçükgüzel emphasized the importance of added value of national biotechnological products aimed at National Strategical plans and mentioned the 53rd anniversary of the Faculty. MITTO Coordinator and Project Manager Prof. Ahu Altınkut Uncuoğlu shared a brief of the project with participants. Representatives from Drug Sector and academicians shared their works in the workshop, as well.
