The agreement was signed between Marmara University Rector Erol Özvar and Azerbaijan Institute of Theology Rector Ceyhun Memmedov, with the aim of developping a collaboration in the education field. According to this agreement, two academic institutions agree to develop a collaborative activities in the academic areas such as exchanging  of students and administrative staff, carrying out the collaborative research project  and organizing conference and seminar.
