The Doğanay family was welcomed in our faculty of fine arts. They were given the projects of their daughter from the archive. The family visited the Acıbadem campus and the classes in which Kübra Doğanay educated. The moments were witnessed by the Head of Interior Architecture Department Assoc. Professor Tonguç Tokol, Assoc. Professor Müge Göker Paktaş, Lecturer Dr.Seden Odabaşıoğlu and Research Assist. Çağrı Uludüz. After the event, the photographs were taken in order to immortalize that moment.

Martyr Kübra Doğanay graduated from Marmara University Interior Architecture Department in 2005. After her graduation, Doğanay took the Assistant Commissioner Exam in order to become police, a job she always dreamed of.

On the night of the 15th of July 2016,  Deputy Inspector Kübra Doğanay went to her workplace, the Special Operations Department,  to collect weapons. But she became a martyr in there because of the bomb that was dropped there.

The name of Martyr Kübra Doğanay was given to a high school in Yeşilhisar, Kayseri,  A Girls Anatolian İmam Hatip High School in Yenişehir, Mersin and another Imam Hatip High School in Yalova.
