MarmaRUN, which was organized for the 3rd time this year,  brought sports lovers together despite the rain. While Damla Çelik won first place in women, Hacı Sebahattin Çavga took first place in men’s.

In addition to Marmara University students and members, many local and foreign race lovers participated in the race, which consisted of a 9.5 km stage along the Anadolu Hisarı and Çubuklu coast. Despite the rain, the marathon held with intensive participation was completed with colorful images.

Congratulating the winners by giving their awards, Marmara University Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kurt said: “I see that we have made MarmaRUN an international race with participation from all over the country and even from all over the world. We are very happy about that. Despite the rain today, it was a very enjoyable competition. It was a festive day in Anadolu Hisarı. Our MarmaRUN students have become a very good brand with the participation of race lovers and professionals. I would like to thank all the participants and those who received degrees.

Organized by the Marmara University Alumni Office, the 3rd MarmaRUN started from Marmara University Anadolu Hisarı Campus and was completed at Anadolu Hisarı Campus by returning from Çubuklu Pier. The race, in which various awards are given to the winners, is on its way to becoming a sports brand of Marmara University.
