Gencay Menge, who is a student at the  Faculty of Sport Sciences and also takes part  in the Table Tennis Team which  is under direction of  Dr. Sabahattin Sabrioğlu, became Europe Champion in the 3rd European Universities Games held in Zagreb, capital of Crotia.  

Gencay Menge, saying that he is very pleasure to have received this award, added to his words that “I am pleased and happy to receive this gold medal as it means I support  to my country in these hard times by unfurling our flag in Croatia”.
