Our university became champion both in Men and Women Kumite Team in the Turkey Universities Karate Championship held in Hatay on April 29 and May 2, 2019 and won the right to participate in the European Universities Karate Championship. In the competition we participated in 13 categories with 13 athletes our university obtained great success with 6 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze medal.  We congratulate Taylan H. Balcıoğlu and our athletes and wish them success in the European Universities Championships. Assoc. Prof. Aytekin Soykan was elected as a member of WKF (World Karate Federation) Technical Committee. We wish him success in his task to represent our country on the international platform.
