Female National Kumite  Team including of Yıldız Aras and Meltem Hocaoğlu, who  graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Sports Science, won second European Championship title by getting their  Silver Medals.  

While Meltem Hocaoğlu received bronze medal by getting European third title both in  kata and kumite category, National Athlete Ali Sofuoğlu won one silver medal for each category both in  individual and kumite categories.

Male Kumite National Team, consisting of student of the Faculty of Sports Sciences Alparslan Yamanoğlu,  achieved great success in European Championship.
