Established in 2009 within the Informatics Institute of the Middle East Technical University, the URAP Laboratory, which is conducting researches with the aim of  developing the  scientifical methodes to evaluate the universities according to their academic performances and sharing the results of their  studies with the public, announced the 2018-2019 Universities Ranking. In the prepared list that article, total citation, the number of doctoral graduates and lecturer/student scores were calculated, Marmara University ranked 11th in the General Score Table inluding all universities in Turkey.
