With the joint efforts of Marmara University Library and Documentation Department and Information Technology Department, the remote open access system of our university library has already been enriched and renewed in terms of content and capacity.
Our open access system has already reviewed and served the rare manuscripts and printed Arabic, Persian and Ottoman texts preserved in our library with new contents.
Our open access system brings a pretty much richer collection of theses to the attention of all researchers.
Cuneyd Orhon Photo Archive, Kemal Karpat Archive, Mahmut Sevket Pasha Collection, Mehmed Fuad Koprulu Archive, Mesut Tufan Archive, Osman Ondes Collection, Taha Toros Archive, Tekel Collection, Turing Collection, Zeynep Orhon Targac Photo Archive, which all had been preserved earlier at the library of Istanbul Sehir University whose activities were ended on June 30, 2020, was added to Marmara University Digital Collections and Academic Archive and put into our open access system service under the title of “Private Archival Collections” for all researchers.
