Our university was awarded the most preferred university as a result of the researches carried out by Eurasia and International Education Fair of Turkey (IEFT) Education Consultancy Companies.

IEFT Education  Consulting Companies conducted research on language schools, consulting companies and universities and as a result of this research, it has given awards to educational institutions in Turkey and abroad in different categories.  In the category of Turkish State University, which is most preferred by foreign students and universities abroad, Istanbul University, Istanbul Technical University and Marmara University were finalists. As a result of the evaluations, Marmara University won the award.

Our rector Prof.Dr. Erol Özvar’s supporting and encouraging international representation of our university is  a major factor. In addition,  the studies, which were conducted by under the leadership of  Coordinator of International Relations and Academic Cooperation Office Prof. Dr. Nuri Tınaz to introduce our university, have a great effect on obtaining this award.
