Organized in cooperation with the Marmara University Atatürk Faculty of Education  and the Marmara Education Volunteers Association, “II. International Congress on New Explorations in Education” was held.

The congress which identified its main theme as  “Human and Society Model in 2023 Vision”,   was held in Marmara University Bağlarbaşı Campus Congress and Culture Center, from 26th to 28th October.

Opening speeches of the Congress was made by  Dean of Marmara University Atatürk Faculty of Education Prof.  Dr. Ahmet Şükrü Özdemir and Head of Marmara Education Volunteers Association Zekeriya Erdim. Following the opening speeches, MoNE (Ministry of National Education) General Director of Special Education and Guidance Services Prof. Dr. Ahmet Emre Bilgili made a presentation about special education in Turkey.

In the congress, in which a large number of participants from Turkey and abroad were hosted, 2023 vision was examined from an interdisciplinary perspective, and it was talked about  on the expected financial and moral transformation in 2023 and ideal model of human and society. 167 papers were presented in the congresses held in eight sessions.

Also within the congress, a workshop on  “Material Design in Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language” was held.
