Organized by Marmara University Health, Culture and Sports Department, Marmara Culture, Art and Sports Festival started on 23 May 2022 at the 125th Anniversary Open Amphitheater at Göztepe Campus and will continue between 23 May and 3 June 2022.

The opening speech of the festival, which was attended by Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Çelen and Secretary-General Lect. Dr.  Murat Arısal, was made by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Korkut. Wishing that the festival, which  will continue for two weeks at all campuses, will please everyone, Prof. Dr. Korkut said “Our university, which has achieved serious success in every field, continues to maintain this determination, so I think we deserve the festival, entertainment and rest.”

While the works made by the students in the marbling and gouache-watercolor courses organized in cooperation with Marmara University and Maltepe Public Education Center were presented to the senior management of our university, a pencil drawing portrait was presented to Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kurt. Expressing that he liked his gift very much and that he would keep it for life, Prof. Dr. Kurt “I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the Marmara University Spring Festival. I hope everyone will see activities where they can find something for themselves at the festival. I wish you good health and success in your exams.”

The event, which continued with the music concert of the Marmara University Turkish Music Ensemble under the direction of Prof. Dr.  Mustafa Uslu, ended with the performance of the Health, Culture and Sports Department Folk Dance Ensemble.
