Marmara University Red Crescent Club  organized an event under titled slogan “Can Kurtaracak  Kan Damarda Durmaz” in cooperation with Turkish Red Crescent Kadıköy Branch, with the aim to inform the students and  academicians about the Turkish Red Crescent’s acitivities and to raise awareness on the importance of donating blood.

The aforomentioned event started with the blood donation of our Vice Rector Prof.Dr. Mehmet Akalın. After the speeches given by protocol,  President of Marmara University Red Crescent Club İlyas Ceylan was given  the plaquette by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Akalın. During the event that the blood donation was accepted all day, the performances of the  Janissary band, chorus and horon folk danse team received a great deal of attention.
