Following the industrial hemp planting permit for which Assoc. Prof. Muhammet Uzun of the Marmara University Technology Faculty Textile Engineering Department was the Program Consultant and R&D Coordinator, Turkey's largest scale “Hem  Production Contract” event was held.

Kastamonu Governor Avni Çakır, AK Party Kastamonu Deputy Metin Çelik, Taşköprü District Governor Çağlar Partal, Taşköprü Mayor Abdullah Çatal, as well as the Garrison Commander, Kastamonu Provincial Mufti, administrative authorities  and muhtars attended the event.
