In cooperation with Marmara University Disabled Students Unit Coordination Unit, Unimpeded Marmara Club and Special Education Community, the panel was held in Prof. Dr. Ayhan Mergen Conference Hall. Two Ebebek employees, one with autism and the other with Down Syndrome, shared their participation in the independent life with the help of their families. Moderated by Instructor Tuna Şahsuvaroğlu, Ebebek Human Resources Manager Nisa Dizdar stated that they have realized diversity management through training and business coaching for the employment in the triangle of companies, families and staff, in order to realize the quota system in full. Thanks to this management, the employees of Autism and Down Syndrome have been successfully involved in the system. Elif Güler, a Down Syndrome patient who learned to write reading at 4 years old and is studying Child Development in high school, explained the mutual satisfaction in business life. Her mother, Nilgün Güler, underlined the dishonorable behavior that her daughter faced until now and she reminded that the students of Private Education Teaching who are among the audience should have the extra mission to break these attitudes. Eyüp Can Yılmaz with Autism, who introduced herself to the participants with her warm and loving communication, mentioned her daily routine. Eyüp Can Yılmaz's mother Zeynep Yılmaz emphasized the importance of the necessary attention and training by explaining that she gave attention to his son education after the diagnosis of autism and, in this way, Eyüp could take part in the social life. Büşra Ragıpoğlu, representative of the Association of Down Syndrome, shared information on how they prepared young people with Down's syndrome for employment. In the end of the panel, Lecturer Zuhal Pek, Department of Disabled Students Unit, readed Elif Güler’s poem “ Can Arkadaşım- My Dear Friend” from her book titled “ Rüzgar Ben Nereye Sürüklerse - Where The Wind Blows Me”.
