1237 athletes from 97 countries who competed in 14 different disciplines participated in the games that were organized in Doha, the Capital of Qatar.

Ufuk Yılmaz, a third-year student at Marmara University, Faculty of Sports Sciences, Department of Coaching, came in second place (90+kilos) in the World Beach Games.
