Our Faculty of Medicine's "Apron Wearing Ceremony" was held on 13rd  September by the attendance of our Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kurt.

The ceremony was held with great enthusiasm in the inner garden of the Faculty of Medicine building, in accordance with the Covid-19 pandemic measures. Our students, who have been studying for 3 years in the Basic Sciences Building in Başıbüyük and will start their clinical training at the hospital from this year, were dressed in white coats by our Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kurt, Vice-Rectors Prof. Dr. Omer Akgiray, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Celen, Prof. Dr. Hasan Korkut,  Dean Prof. Dr. Hakan Gündüz, Deputy Deans Prof. Dr. Ümit Şehirli and Assoc. Prof.  Altuğ Çinçin, our coordinators who are responsible for education and our University Secretary-General Dr. Murat Arısal.

As the first course in the 2021-2022 academic year, the course titled "From Anti-Vaccination to Artificial Intelligence;  Being a Physician in the 21st Century” was given by Prof. Dr. Lütfiye Mülazımoğlu Durmuşoğlu from the  Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology Department.

We wish success to our 4th-grade students, who have started the clinical term, in their education life.
