In the first part of the "Experimental Animal Models" symposium organized for the first time in order to increase the interest in experimental animal studies in dermatology and to provide practical information on this , the basic principles of animal models are discussed with dermatologic view and in the second part animal models belonging to common diseases in dermatology are discussed in detail.  Many lecturers and managers from Faculty of Health Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Pharmacy and Experimental Animal Center  attended to the meeting in which dermatology assistants and specialists and scientists interested in the subject from many parts of TRNC and Turkey participated.
