Prof. Dr. Ebru Işık Alturfan, lecturer of Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry Basic Medical Sciences, and İsmail Ünal, a graduate student of Institute of Health Sciences, were awarded by the European Society for Fish Models in Biology and Medicine (EuFishBioMed).

İsmail Ünal was entitled to an education in the Birmingham University Institute of Cancer and Genomic Sciences Laboratory of Prof. Dr. Ferenc Mueller,  while Prof. Dr. Ebru Işık Alturfan made her presentation in the European Zebrafish PI Meeting held in Portugal through her Principal Investigator fellowship which was given by EuFishBioMed.
