Assisted by İSTKA (Istanbul Development Agency) support from the priority areas pointed out by the Istanbul Regional Plan 2014-2023 which reveals the socio-economic development trends and potential of the Istanbul region, Assist. Assoc. A new research project, of which Asst.Assoc.Aker is the initiator, has been completed. The joint project of Marmara University and Istanbul Technical University, "Determination of Employment Trends in Istanbul" project report was published within İSTKA support.

The opening speeches of the meeting where the findings related to the research findings were shared were made by Secretary General of Istanbul Chamber of Industry Vekili Haktan Akın and İSTKA Secretary General Özgül Özkan Yavuz.  Following the presentation of Specialist Dr. Neşe Türkseven, titled "Employment Strategies in the Regional Plan of Istanbul 2014-2023", Marmara University Faculty of Business Administration Faculty Member Assist. Assoc. İlker Akgün PhD and ITU Faculty of Architecture Assoc. Aliye Ahu Akgün PhD made a presentation on the Employment Trends Identification Project in Istanbul. After the Human Development Foundation Advisory Board Member Renan Burduroğlu's presentation of Employment-Education Relationship Project in Istanbul,the programended with the question and answer section.
