A seminar titled "Education in Production, Production in Education" was held on January 11, 2022, by Marmara University Vocational School of Technical Sciences Design Department. The seminar, in which  NİT Knitting Textile Industry Chairman İrfan Yolcular attended as a speaker, was held in Marmara University Mehmet Genç Külliyesi B Blue Hall.

İrfan Yolcular started the seminar by introducing NİT Knitting Textile Company and R&D Center. He shared his knowledge and experience with the students and lecturers who attended the seminar and explained with examples how the obstacles he encountered in the sector turned into gains and how young people could struggle with similar obstacles.

After the seminar, a University-Industry Cooperation Protocol was signed between Vocational School of Technical Sciences and NİT Knitting Textile Industry and Trade Limited Company.  Within the scope of the protocol, a training program will be organized in February for the students of the Design Department and the Textile, Clothing, Footwear, and Leather Department to bring qualified personnel to the knitwear industry. The seminar, in which students' questions were answered, was ended with the presentation of a certificate of appreciation to Irfan Kaynik by Mustafa Ay.
