Each project in both institutes was prepared with swatter, wire, nut and bolt under the tutelage of lecturer Çimen Bayburtlu.

In the project entitled “From Industry to Cloth”, Designing students designed clothes with the interpretation of relieving the burden off women’s shoulders with cloth shields.

In the project entitled “Feel the Movement” students of School of Jewelry Technology and Design prepared wearable jewelry designs revealing Women’s naive and elegant nature while revealing women being warrior.

Designs prepared with industrial materials received a great appreciation by Minister of Economy Nihat Zeybekçi during his visit in the event held in Lütfi Kırdar International Congree Center.  Minister Nihat Zeybekçi spoke highly of Marmara University while having a conversation with Department Head of Designing Assoc. Prof. Nuriye İşgören and students and added that he was graduated from Marmara University, as well.
