Rector Erol Özvar emphasized in the signing ceremony that campus card is one of the smart electronic applications which are most needed by the universities. Saying that the given card is a very important necessary for refectory, transition areas, library and electronic card required  spaces, Özvar added that their needs will be met with the agreement signed between our university and PTT. Rector Erol Özvar described the project as one of the most important campus card projects of Turkey from its size point of view and presented his thanks to Vices Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kurt, Prof. Dr. Ömer Akgiray and Prof. Dr. Mustafa Çelen, General Secretary Murat Arısal and General Secretary Deputies, Dr. Lect.  Hüseyin Yüce, Heads and staffs of the Department of  Information Technologies, Department of Health, Culture and Sports, Department of Personnel, Department of Strategy Development, Department of Student Affairs, Department of Construction and Technical Works, Department of Administrative and Financial Affairs. Özvar said  campus cards to  be used by administrative and academic personnel over 6.000 and nearly 85.000 students will become avaliable since last of the February.

General Director and Board Chairman of PTT A.Ş.  Kenan Bozgeyik, touching upon the history of PTT,  said PTT is together with the people whatever they live. Bozgeyik expressed they follow all technological developments around the world and told  the studies of PTT about the cargo, e-commerce and banking fields. Bozgeyik added they send domestic products to many countries of the world through the platform of PTT AVM. Bozgeyik pointed out they will develop many cooperation  oppurtunities with Marmara University at different areas, especially R&D and innovation.

After the signing ceremony, the  protocol ended with the presentation of mutual gifts between Erol Özvar and Kenan Bozgeyik.
