At the Marmara University Senate Meeting held at the İbrahim Üzümcü Conference Hall on Tuesday, December 5, Göztepe Campus, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kurt presented a Certificate of Appreciation to the academicians who won distinguished awards in different fields.
Prof. Dr. Yüksel Çelik with his work titled "Rami Barracks: Aydın in the Era of Mahmud II - Headquarters of Despotic Modernization" was awarded the Kemal Karpat Special Award within the TÜBA Scientific Copyrighted Work Awards (TÜBA-TESEP), while Prof. Dr. Mesut Sancar, Lecturer of the Faculty of Pharmacy, was deemed worthy to receive the Mekin Tanker Honor Award within 16th Pharmaceutical Congress of Turkey. Instructor Şule Eleman received the "RTTP Title" from the USMIP National Patent Fair and National Congress of University-Industry Cooperation. Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kurt congratulated academicians and wished them continued success.
