Opening speeches of the ceremony was made by Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy Professor  S. Güniz Küçükgüzel and Chairman of the Board of Pharmetic - Entrepreneur Pharmacists Association Pharm. Armağan Ener. The 5th grade students of the Faculty of Pharmacy Merve Dede and Şeyda Şentürk's project titled “Non Prescription Drug Control System in the Pharmacy (E.R.İ.K.S) were among 4 finalists in the 4th International Farmafikir Competition and won the second prize. Marmara University Faculty of Pharmacy also received the “Most Innovative University” Award. Head of Department of Fine Arts Education, Atatürk Faculty of Education, Dr. Mustafa Uslu made a concert with the Turkish Music Ensemble.
