The original research paper titled "Core–sheath polymer nanofiber formation by the simultaneous application of rotation and pressure in a novel purpose-designed vessel", co-authored by Assoc. Prof. Muhammet Emin Çam of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmacology, and carried out in collaboration with University College London and Marmara University, was published in the Applied Physics Review (Impact Factor: 19.162), one of the world's leading research papers in its field.
In this study, a new production system was developed for the production of bilayer nanofibers and it was proved that the produced fibers were produced as bilayers by making detailed characterizations. The study was selected as the "FEATURED" study by the journal and made the headlines on the journal website. It was also specially reported by the American Institute of Physics (AIP). We congratulate our lecturer and other authors Hussain Alenezi and Prof. Dr. Mohan Ediresinghe.
