The panel titled “Determination The Effects of Employee Fraud On The Companies And Solution Offers Related To Its Prevention” was participated by Fikret Sebilcioğlu of ACFE Turkey, Prof.Dr. Nejat Bozkurt of Marmara University, Dr. Erhan Akgün of Istanbul Security Department, Altuğ Koraltan and Hergüner Bilgen of TAV Airports Holding and Kayra Üçer of Özeke Law Office.
The opening speeches of the panel was made by Dean of Faculty of Businesss Administration, Marmara University, Prof.Dr. Nuran Cömert and Board Member at ACFE Turkey Gökhan Yılmaz. The working of ACFE about the global abuses - 2014 indicates that a company loses 5 % of its revenues each year because of employee fraud and theft, and the global lost therefore is about $ 3,7 trillion compared to world gross revenue 2013. The employee fraud , one of the most important economic offences of 21st century, ( false financial statement, corruptions etc) threaten the working places. The material and non material effects of the employee fraud on the companies were examined in the panel and the solutions offers for the companies struggling with these economic offences were evaluated from the viewpoint of the corporate management, internal – external audit, ethics and harmony.
